We are responsible for our client's financial decision, and research is important!
Our proposal should always be as close to the prospect's expectations as possible. Here are a few things I will usually do;
1) For investment, I will look for funds that suit my prospect's risk appetite. My information source is usually from my company's online platform and affiliated fund houses.
2) Create quotations for prospects looking for insurance by providing them at least three different plans, each proposing different premiums and protection coverage. This process usually takes between half to one hour to complete.
3) For prospects who are very uncertain and require additional information and support, I will need to take more time to research deeper, seek help from my manager, and think of ways to present so that my prospects can feel better and confident with the decision.
