Have you been so confident at one moment on “I can do something!” and after that, you backtracked?
Uncertainties arise when we rationalize and navigate ourselves too much in our mind so often that we forget what is from our hearts; the one that motivates us to achieve the things we seek. In this article, we share how these four simple steps could help you!
1) Remember
2) Intention
3) Stabilise
4) Engage
1) Remember
Have you done anything positive that makes people feel happy or proud of? Or have you made any achievement, even if it’s a tiny one, that you can pat yourself on your shoulder?
Now, in your mind, are flashbacks of positive scenes coming in? Do you now feel a positive energy as well?
This simple method helps you to bring yourself back into a state of positivity and give you the energy of confidence once again.
2) Intention
With this energy up high, ask yourself, what aspirations do I want to achieve? What do I envision? How strong is my intention?
A strong purpose that drives the intention will give you energy along the way because you believe!
There’s a famous saying, Where there is a will, there is a way! How strong is your will? How much stakes are you willing to put into achieving this goal?
3) Stabilise
When you finally decided that “I can do it” and then, you felt fearful of the uncertain; this is the time to tell yourself to Stabilise! What makes you feel uncertain must always have a solution that counterbalances it; such as from;
- the people you know who can provide you with fresh bits of advice and feedbacks
- when you reflect to see you might have missed out on something important
- self-belief to tell yourself that worries are simply because you have not understood the situation enough
- taking things one step at a time as you solve multiple small issues strategically
- Know that out of adversity comes great opportunity!
4) Engage
The more you fear, the more you resist change. We encouraged you to start and engage immediately with that intention of yours and achieve the very thing you want in life!
Remember, it is important to stabilise your thoughts along the way and tell yourself that solutions are always out there. Courage outweighs fear!
When you follow and repeat these four simple steps, you will grow, and you will achieve greater heights!
Testimonials
I found out that my life has been very messy, which affected my productivity. Anji's programme gave a deeper look into myself which has really benefited me. The thing I took away was how practical the exercises were. I could practice at work or at home. I just needed 2 or 3 mins of time to get myself back to the center. So, far it's worked out very well for me, as I am an overthinker and it really disrupts my work
Brian,
School Manager
I found myself very caught up in to-do lists, negative thoughts and harsh judgements on myself. I was easily overwhelmed and missing out on fun experiences. I'd used a few apps in the past but I didn't really know how to take it into the real world. After, I found myself more in touch with what was going on. I was able to identify how I was feeling in situations and able to accept or change them. I felt calmer and I had the ability to cope with unpleasant situations, as well as, being mindful and present for all the fun things too.
Sally,
Advertising Executive
I took the programme because i wanted to better understand what to do when i felt anxious. after the programme, I feel like I can better regulate my thoughts and emotions which has helped me not just at work but in my personal life. I'd like to recommend this programme for those who'd like to better understand how their mind works, to regulate their emotions and would like to be more self-aware.
